A flexible community agriculture service for busy people!

Tacatì conveys a traditional product through an innovative experience. Once again, innovation is attached to service and to user experience.

The product is locally-sourced grocery. Mainly food, but also cleaners, articles for personal and body care etc.
Community supported agriculture (c.s.a.), indeed, is not a new thing. The traditional c.s.a. service though have few rigidities, which Tacatì translates into opportunities and an innovative service model.

Rigidity n.1 – offer: lack of flexibility with the variety of products and the quantity you can order. Usually c.a. boxes are made of a fixed quantity of goods (usually family-sized), whose composition varies according to the season and the availability of the single producer that source them.

Rigidity n.2 – lifestyle: lack of flexibility with the delivery times and places. Boxes are delivered at working times for the producer and for you as well, typically at your place or in gathering places that are difficult to reach. Unless you don’t work at home/you can easily leave you office for a while, it’s quite difficult to catch the box and the user experience become a nightmare.

Rigidity n.3 – prices: lack of flexibility in the selection and the substitution of producer or in adding a new one, which also implies a very limited competition and a sort of monopoly which tend to keep prices at the upper side of the market.

Tacatì gathers local producers ( = whose production site is less than 100km away from your place) and conveys their offers into a single web shop: you browse the offer, fill your e-cart with the exact quantities that fit your specific weekly needs, choose a delivery place – it can be your place, your office or a gathering point nearby -, pay with your credit card and wait for the box!

Deliveries happen once per week. Prices are much lower than the corresponding product at the supermarket (while quality is higher!) and gathering places can be user generated: if you have a refrigerator too big for your personal/family/business needs, you can offer your place/office/shop to host some of Tacati deliveries and get a percentage of the shipping price!

Last but not least, Tacatì has a federal architecture: if you feel like selecting and organizing a network of local producers around your city and set-up a similar service for your fellow citizens, you can contact Giulia and Stefano and borrow their web platform (and experience!!) to start a new, sustainable and smart business adventure! Tacati is always in search for partners!

The Soccer experience has never been so social!

Soccer Square is a managerial game about soccer, which takes place on Facebook, among Facebook users. The player embodies a coach of a football team: she will choose the best training strategy for her players, the best game strategy with respect to her opponent, make the wisest buyout decisions in the football market and the smartest investments, to win the championships.

Your friends
Your Facebook friends could be your best allies and the most formidable opponents at the same time! You can find them on the other side of the soccer pitch, and challenge them after having meticulously studied their game strategy – you can exult on their Facebook wall after a winning match, or you can enroll them as personal coach assistants, accountants – to better supervise investment decisions – or hospital nurse to accelerate healing times of your players injured during previous matches.

Easy, immersive and extremely challenging at the same time!
On Soccer Square – with a hyper-immersive interface – you will be guided through the first steps of the experience of being a coach: as soon as you get accustomed with rules, rhythms, action and events, you will be able to successfully drive your own team both through championships and friendly games. With Soccer Square you have plenty of opportunities to win, gain and to scale up your proficiency level toward an always more challenging experience!

Live!
Soccer Square is the only managerial game about soccer where things happen almost for real! As soon as the time goes on, even if you don’t actively participate, your team will play and end up tired anyway; the grass of your soccer pitch will fade off or grow too much; the floor of the locker room will get dirty and the mood of you team will slow down. You are the coach and they need you! This also means that if you can’t play for a while, you can always come back: maybe your players have missed you a lot, but they are still bravely hard-earning their position on the A-rankings!

Join the social eating revolution!

We love the concept of Gnammo ever since we started reading about it in Summer 2011. We ourselves exploit food to inject meetings and mutual exchange of ideas - no matter Gnammo - like millions of people around the world.

Gnammo is a platform to bridge talented – though non professional – cooks with people that want to eat out in a unconventional, humanly rich, culturally authentic way.

Gilbert Keith Chesterton (1874-1936), a British journalist, novelist and poet, wrote:

The whole object of travel is not to set foot on foreign land; it is at last to set foot on one’s own country as a foreign land.

As for guests, Gnammo may serve the needs of educated tourists is search of a deep dive into local habits and atmospheres, as well as of people that just do not feel like cooking but still would love to sit in a kitchen and eat like at their place. Unique as it’s proposition is, Gnammo wants to be sophisticated and simple at the same time.

As for the host: countless people in Italy feel in their hands the power to master a given dish, or even a branch of Italian cuisine. They say: “I can cook the best ‘spahetti con le cozze’ ever, just try it”. Gnammo’s offer stems from pairing the huge wealth of professionalism that is being cultivated in Italian private kitchens, with the self-confidence that injects the need of sharing and the undisputed sense of hospitality of Italian homes.

Neteracity

Rete letteratura città
Scrivere per incontrarsi, incontrarsi per scrivere

Net literature city
Writing to come together, coming together to write

Poi altri leggono i propri racconti. E i locali attivi.

L’idea in sintesi

Prossimo evento ntrct

Giovedì 12 luglio, ore 20.00
al
Casa di Savina
suonare Neirotti, via Ornato 10 – a Torino!

UPDATE!
Regalister legendary version 1.0 is now available on the AppStore! Rush and get you free copy!

Believe us. Regalister will bring a breakthrough innovation in the way you experience the very foundation of the limitless wealth of human societies (whether they are modern or pre-industrial): the gift.

Despite such an enormous importance, the gift experience is not properly curated and sometime ends with frustration, misunderstandings and even tragedies!

Every gift has a meaning in the mind of the one that gives it: if only for time expensive evaluations, consultations, wanderings that sometimes it involves. Not to speak about the subtle shame that one invariably feels when she’s aware that her gift is banal, insipid.
The tragedy comes when, despite all that pathos, the receiver responds with indifference, a smile of convenience or a trace of annoyance.

You may say: that’s the cost that you have to pay if you want to make a surprise! Forget it: the real surprise is getting something you always wanted from an unexpected person, or even the very person you wanted to show her love in that way.

So: here comes Regalister.

A book can dream. Read it. Write it.

If you want to paraphrase what political economist Janet Wasko once wrote about movies, you can certainly say that:

“A book must be placed within an entire social, economic and political context and critiqued in terms of the contribution to maintaining and reproducing structures of power“

Well: Bookolico is a startup that wants to give back to readers and writers the power over books, and therefore have a deep impact on our society.

Are you a writer? Ok, you make your living in another way: we know you LOVE your job (you are a doctor, we suppose). Nevertheless, be honest: you occasionally write, and you love it as well. Don’t be shy.
Writing, in our society, is not considered an activity you can perform respectably twice per week, like swimming. But, hey you: this is not your problem, it’s ours. You write. And yes, you can publish what you write. And YES! We can read it eventually!!

Wait: there is a big difference though between swimming and writing twice per week. While swimming you consume value. While writing, you MAKE vuale – for others – and you deserve to be rewarded for it: that’s what Bookolico is for. Bookolico will help sharing and trading the value of ‘writings’(shall we call them eBooks?), in a way to respect both the time spent writing and the time spent reading. (Indeed: the cost of the book is equal to the price of the book + value of the time spent reading. If the book costs too much, in fact, we tend to ask ourselves: do we really need it? Will we ever bother to read it (=have the time to read it)?)

Bookolico’s founder, Giuseppe Spezzano, clearly knows it: to stimulate the circulation of writings, and therefore of dreams, we need to offer reader an affordable choice of fruition, and writers a possibility to share what they do, and be rewarded for it. In a simple, understandable way. With just a small percentage left to Bookolico’s platform.

How much such a percentage is? How do Bookolico will actually work and look like? We cannot reveal too much (we’ll do it in the near future!). For now we can just say that:

Bookolico has a very interesting blog, for the pleasure of Italian readers

Bookolico offers you a candy: in Bookolico’s landing page you can enjoy each week a different excerpt from novels of independent writers and vote it, while staying in touch with Bookolico updates. Tempted? Just go to www.bookolico.com and grasp some delicious finger food for your dreams!

Follows Bookolico on Twitter!

An urban production lab

Artmob is a urban production lab of original collaborative installations and performances (the concept merges Art with the Flash Mob approach) .

Are you an urban artist, designer, film-maker, architect or performer? Do you already have a group of collaborators, or are you keen to found one and work together in a multidisciplinary, collaborative experience?

If so, Artmob is designed for you:

go to www.artmob.it

create a collaborative project / find one / publish your own in search for further partners

submit the project and get 5k€ of funding + the exclusive mentorship of international experts in the field of art and communication

activate your project idea in one of the 4 partner cities of Artmob: Alessandria, Asti, Casale Monferrato, Giaveno!

ArtMob is a project funded by the Youth Department of the The Presidency of the Council of Ministers and of the Union of Italian Municipalities, boosted by Fondazione Pistoletto-Città dell’Arte, which involved us – The Doers – as designers and developers of the web platform, as well as ‘digital mentors‘ for the community of artists.

The web platform of ArtMob is the result of the collaboration among us and Paolo, Juan, Caterina, Armona, Margherita – from Città del’Arte – and a larger group of contributors from the network of ArtMob’s partners.

We hope to facilitate the activation of many and interdisciplinary group of artists and we are looking forward to give digital birth to the next project we are cultivating with Paolo & friends from Città dell’Arte!

Locum turned out to be a quite powerful concept: we put it together in our spare time while designing and developing Cineama. Despite such a relative lack of attention and care, Locum got finalist at Torino Open Data contest and again finalist at HFarm and Dreamit Ventures, two from the major international seed accelerators. Or, if you want to turn it the other way round, we were not ready enough to win the final rush.

If you want to be amazed by Locum’s story, so far, we have documented it here.

Cineama is a platform for the collaborative creation, production and distribution of independent movies, as well as a workshop and a community open to professionals, artists and passionate about cinema and its surroundings.

Movies are the third most discussed topic on the web, in Italy and worldwide, and among the top 10 of conversation topics off line: we talk about cinema with friends, colleagues, to break the ice, to impress, to see similarities. Talking about movies people love and fight a million of times every day. This immense and uninterrupted conversation is the essence of cinema.
Cineama take this essence and puts it back in its place: at the center of the film production and distribution processes, as the main agent and engine of the supply chain.

What does Cineama offer?

Cineama you would like to offer young screenwriters and directors a chance to see their work professionally carried out, as long as quality is deliverable with less than € 250,000 – approximately.

On the other hand Cineama wants to try out an alternative funding system to the legacy of the sector, giving everyone the chance to co-finance, through small but significant sums, their preferred movie.

Finally, Cineama will enable every user to support the distribution of their beloved films or documentaries, on line or off line.

How?

Cineama subscribers can:

meet other community members and talk about Cinema through the community wall or creating on purpose discussion groups;

upload a script and gather a community of collaborators to improve the movie project around it: (a) via a smart system of script’s comments, (b) giving them the possibility to enrich the project moodboard with multimedia references, (c) calling for their collaboration as artists and members of the film crew;

enrich their professional profile, showing their experience as members of the movie industry, in order to get in touch with project owners in search of their skills;

enjoy Cineama’s blog, with special news and unique insights about Cinema and its surroundings!

Roadmap
